👻🔧 TUESDAY TALKS WITH DICK… AND A SPECIAL GUEST FROM BEYOND! 🎃

Well, folks… things are getting a little strange around Butchie’s Automotive this October! 😂

We’ve had mysterious noises, disappearing tools, and a few things around the shop that nobody seems to have an explanation for.

And now we're starting to think we know who's responsible… 👀

BUTCHIE HIMSELF! 👻

For those who don't know, our shop is named after my dad, Butchie. And judging by the way things have been going around here, I wouldn't be surprised if he's still keeping an eye on us from upstairs! 😂

I can almost hear him now…

💬 “Dick, why's that toolbox over there?”

💬 “Who's been using my tools?”

💬 “And what in the hell are you guys doing now?!” 🤣

Some things never change, even when the boss isn't physically around anymore.

All joking aside, I'm proud to have his name on the building and to keep a little piece of his legacy going every day.

🎃👻 WELCOME TO BUD’S HAUNTED GARAGE! 🐾🔧

Well, folks… apparently Bud has taken over the shop for October, and things are getting a little SPOOKY around Butchie’s! 💀😂

We’re not sure who gave him permission to decorate, but there are cobwebs everywhere, a skeleton hanging around doing absolutely nothing (we think he’s our newest employee), and Bud is taking his new title of Head of Paranormal Paw-trol VERY seriously. 🐶👻

But don't worry, we're still fixing cars, not casting spells! 🧙‍♂️

A quick apology from Butchie’s Automotive

We owe a few of you an apology today. Our manager and technician both had to head home sick, and in the shuffle, I dropped the ball and forgot to get the word out.

A handful of customers stopped by expecting us to be open, only to find things a little quieter than usual. That one’s on me, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience and wasted trip.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. Hopefully we’ll have the crew feeling better and be back to business as usual tomorrow.

Apparently growing a business also means realizing how much stuff you’ve been hanging onto. 😂🔧

Today at Butchie’s was all about cleaning, rearranging, moving my dad’s toolbox, and finally saying goodbye to some of the “we might need that someday” collection. 😂

It’s pretty wild looking back at the last couple of years. We started by cleaning up the office and bathroom…and somehow that turned into transforming the whole shop one corner at a time.

This round of cleaning has a purpose though — we’re making room to grow and add more services at Butchie’s! 👀

We’ve got some exciting things coming, and we can’t thank everyone enough for continuing to support us along the way.

More room. More services. Same Butchie’s. 🔧💙

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.

25 years later, we still remember the courage, sacrifice, and unity our country showed that day.

🔧 TUES TALKS WITH DICK 🔧

Today’s topic: Why does year-round maintenance matter?

We all know Michigan can throw just about anything at our vehicles—heat, cold, potholes, salt, snow… sometimes all in the same week. 😂

Regular maintenance isn’t just about oil changes. It’s about catching the small stuff before it becomes the expensive stuff. Brakes, tires, fluids, suspension, batteries and routine inspections all play a part in keeping your vehicle safe and dependable.

My advice? Don’t wait until something breaks to start thinking about maintenance. A little attention throughout the year can save you money, headaches, and a tow truck later.
