John Campbell, owner of John’s Omni Auto Service, grew up in a small community and learned a lot about trust and honesty. These are two principals he has built his business on and holds true to today. He understands that not everyone is perfect, in fact, if a mistake is made, they will make it right. John’s journey began when he studied automotive repair at a technical college. His experience as a technician has taken him to many avenues of the industry which has given him an understanding of all aspects of automotive repair. In the early 80’s he began is career working at small, independent repair shops. John also has experience working at Sears Auto and at Farm & Fleet where he managed the shop for six years. His journey then took him to a car dealership where he worked for five years. During that time, John began his own business working part-time. In 1994, John took his knowledge and experience full time and established John’s Omni Auto Service, LLC in Onalaska, WI The shop is state-of-the-art and equipment is updated regularly to keep up with automotive trends. Faulty diodes are a common cause of malfunctions. Diodes are part of the rectifier assembly that converts the alternator AC output to DC. If you have a leaky diode it can allow the current to drain out of the battery through the alternator when the vehicle is not being driven.
