A huge thank you to Tecla Warren with Glory Stand www.glorystand.com for the incredibly generous donation of 1,450 lbs. of yellow potatoes! 🥔💛

And a big thank you to Marc Doney for connecting us and helping make this happen.

These potatoes will be distributed to food banks up and down the valley from Oroville to Brewster, and over to the Methow. We couldn’t do it without the support of our local business partners — Columbia River Auto Sales in Pateros, who picked up the load from across the state, and Pine Street Realty Okanogan
in Okanogan — both of whom are helping us distribute to the outlying areas of the county.

Thank you to Teresa at the Omak Chronicle www.omakchronicle.com Rick at North Cascades Broadcasting and Tiffany at KOZI Radio for helping get the word out about the Fill the Truck Food Drive, its WORKING!

Tecla at Glory Stand also provided an abundance of fresh lettuce and avocados, which we were able to immediately deliver to Community Action and the local homeless shelter to support people and families in need.

We’re grateful for their generosity and proud of how our community continues to come together. ❤️💪

❤️ Okanogan County, we need your help!

From now until November 26, we’re helping with the first-ever Fill the Truck Food Drive, collecting food donations to support families right here in our community.

What makes this drive unique?

Whether you're at home or at your business, just text the contact for your area (listed on the flyer) and we’ll schedule a pickup. It’s simple, quick, and truly makes a difference.

We've taken an extra step to increase our impact. We have reached out directly to food banks across the county—from Tonasket to Brewster—and they’ve let us know they are able to take perishable items as well, including potatoes, carrots, onions, squash, and other longer-lasting produce. These items hold up well until their distribution days, and the food banks are excited to receive them.

We’ve set a big goal for this first event—to fill 10 apple bins with donated food.
With your support, we know we can make it happen. 🙌
