Our Story

Scott Benson, Founder of Ultimate Truck, started his automotive career in northern California working as a manager for an off road store similar to Ultimate Truck. After 6 years of doing so, he decided that California was not the place for him. He packed up his things and headed back home to Omaha, NE where his family was located. Scott was unsure of what he wanted to do next but wasn’t planning to stay in Omaha either. In the time he was here, he saw that there was a need for a quality off road shop. Since he had the experience in the industry, Scott decided to open up Ultimate Truck Off Road Center. November of 1990, Ultimate Truck had its first location in Millard. The business operated out of there for a year and a half. But once a new, larger location became available right down the road, he knew the move was necessary. In 1992, Ultimate Truck moved to 13434 Millard Ave where it would call home for 22 successful years. As the industry grew and more people were becoming accustomed to truck accessories, Scott knew he needed to grow the business as well. In November 2014, Ultimate Truck found its new location at 11268 Richland Dr on the corner of 132nd and Highway 370. The new store now features a 3,000 sq ft showroom, larger warehouse space to stock accessories, and a larger shop for installations. This is where we plan to call home for many years to come.

In January of 2019, Scott sold the business to Matt and Marty, employees of Ultimate Truck. Matt has been with the business since 2009, and Marty started in 2016.
