This isn’t a photo from a Chevrolet showroom in 1989. This is inside our shop. 🤯
This 1989 K5 Blazer has just 27 miles on the odometer. The window sticker is still in the glass. The seats AND floors are still wrapped in plastic. Somehow, calling it a “time capsule” almost doesn’t do it justice.
Remember the ’87 Chevy pickup with 67 original miles we shared? The same owner brought us this one, too. And it’s believed to be the lowest mileage example in existence.
Getting to see vehicles like these is incredible. Being trusted to take care of them means even more. Our entire Auto Medic team is truly grateful for the opportunity and for the customer who trusted us with these special pieces of history.
Now settle a debate for us: Do you preserve those 27 miles, or start making memories behind the wheel?

67 ORIGINAL MILES. Not 67,000. Sixty seven. 🤯
This 1987 Chevrolet Silverado was bought, parked, and practically frozen in time. Its current owner brought it to Auto Medic to get it running again after decades of sitting.
We cleaned the fuel system, cleaned up a few electrical connections, and now it’s running like a top!
An absolute time capsule. A true unicorn. Getting to work on something like this is special, and we’re incredibly grateful the owner trusted our team with it. We’re excited for them to finally enjoy this truck, and we couldn’t let it leave without sharing it with you.
Be honest… would you drive it, or would you have a hard time putting mile 68 on it? 👀
