I think im gonna change my name to diagnosing instead of tooooning.

Seems lately its all ive been doing. 😞

Granted I will say, most customers hire a professional simply because they are inexperienced. So they truly dont know that something is wrong besides it runs bad.

Had a house call scheduled this morning that turned into a 4 hour endeavor. Map sensor wasnt working, had 0 clue what injectors/size they were, and an iac motor operating backwards.

But its pretty rewarding finding solutions to problems and seeing it all come together.

Not a rant post, just simply a look into the life of a tooooner.

Just a quick reminder for everyone:
Tuning is not just “plugging in a laptop for a few minutes.”

It’s years of experience, expensive knowledge, and a lot of responsibility to make sure your engine runs safely and correctly.

If someone is looking for free tuning or “just a quick favor,” I may not be the right shop for you — and that’s okay. You've spent thousands on an investment with negative returns, the last thing you wanna do is find the cheapest tooooner.

I appreciate everyone who understands that skilled work deserves to be valued.

146 days without a post..... yikes....My bad....

Still been doing alot of toooooning. Every car is such a different challenge, I love it.

Sometimes all I do is diagnose stuff, although thats not what I prefer, fixing problems might be all you need me for 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

But as its winter time, dont forget about my race program consulting. Its an overview of your car and program. Where to improve, set up your suspension, or picking parts for a brand new build.
