Sam found this 1934 fishing boat in Seattle many years ago and converted her to a cruising vessel for himself. These photos from just last week show her just after the fresh paint and detailing she received. Imagine all the conditions this boat had seen and survived over the last 92 years!

Bill Garden was a Northwest boat designer acclaimed worldwide for all the beautiful boats built from his plans. He has served as inspiration for Sam Devlin throughout his years of boat designing and building. The first photo shows Sam at the helm of Puffin, Sam's Bill Gardem designed cruising dream on the water. We got a visit from someone interested in finishing Czarinna's build himself. Our last efforts involved painting bilges white and the forward cabin surfaces. The last photo shows the Czarinna wrapped up and ready to be transported by her new owner to his property for the next stage on her journey. We wish her well. Thank you for following our brief but satisfying work to move her along on her path to completion and launch.

The forward decking required an added layer of plywood as well. Photo 1: layer has been added. Photo 2: close-up view of added plywood.
