Hey everyone, here is something that I haven't done here for a while - a Second Saturday Ride Announcement (normally, we just use email). We are meeting tomorrow at Bayview Thriftway at 9:30 for 10-ish departure. It looks like we're riding to Port Townsend. We'll be going up the west side of Hood Canal and coming down the east side. Admittedly 101 along the canal isn't that exciting (it is scenic) but we'll try to spice it up a bit with a run up to Lake Cushman and getting off 101 at Quilcene. In any case, feel free to join us on a nice day and ride.

It's been a while since we posted any rides to the FB page so I'll post that we are riding this upcoming Saturday - the Second Saturday of the month. Details to come but at least you know that a ride is coming up Saturday, February 12.

Paul and I are meeting at Bayview this Saturday morning at 9:30 for a 10 departure to the Cranberry Coast. (Yep, a third Saturday ride.) Feel free to join us; the day should be good for riding.

Second Saturday Ride in July. I just created and posted an event notice but I don't know where it went. Therefore, here is a late notice of tomorrow's ride. We're riding to Astoria. Meet at Bayview Thriftway at 9, leave at 9:30. On the way south, we'll do Delphi, Waddell Creek, Cap Forest, Oakville-Brooklyn (there will be gravel), and 101 to Astoria. They way back is undetermined but if the timing is right, I think we'll try the ferry to Puget Island from Westport, Oregon.

[FB today won't let me finish creating an Event for this ride.] Iti's time for the Second Saturday Ride in May. We're riding to Hansville (near Port Gamble) this Saturday via as many good roads as we can throw in along the way. (I'm sure we'll see Dewatto.)

We're giving the Pierce County/Tacoma crowd a break by meeting at Starbucks at 10314 S Tacoma Way, Lakewood, WA 98499 (west end of 512). Let's make it 9:30 for a 10 departure.
