It is with joy and appreciation for the many friends, customers and partners over the last seven years that I announce Class Winners Collector Vehicles has been sold. The business will be moved and integrated with the existing automotive parts and vehicles sales, restoration and associated services operation of the purchaser.
As the Founder and Car Guy in-Chief, I am humbled by the success of the business. Though my role with the company has reached its very intentional conclusion, I know I will continue to maintain the countless wonderful relationships Class Winners has facilitated over the years.

And remember -- "Life's Too Short for Ordinary Cars" is as true today as the day we started this journey.

Happy New Year. Here at Class Winners we begin 2024 with a nearly empty shop. Of course, this did offer a once in seven years opportunity to power-wash the floor. Now, time to find more great vehicles hiding around the world, make them even better and get them into the hands of people who will drive, show and enjoy them!

Congrats to Art, who found a dryish window of opportunity today to come pick up the 1981 Corvette he acquired from Class Winners and drive it roughly 90 miles home. We'll miss this cool Vette with its groovy style.

A delayed congrats to Quin, who last week picked up the fan-favorite Daihatsu Midget II from Class Winners. We'll admit we're going to very much miss seeing this one-seat tiny truck with a huge personality. Like a Minion on wheels, it always brought a smile to our faces whenever we looked at it...and even more when we drove it!

Congrats to Owen (L), who moved heaven and earth yesterday to cannonball up from Eugene, OR with his friend, Aaron (R), beating all other suitors to buy the 1986 BMW 535i. These E28-platform Bimmers are a favorite of Gen Z for their looks, performance, five-speed manual, and retro-cool vibe at an affordable price point.

Congratulations to Greg (r), the current "Class Winners' Distance Award 2023" frontrunner, for flying from Portland, Maine to Portland, OR so he could connect with his friend (l) and drive up to Olympia, WA to buy the awesome 1991 Honda Beat from Class Winners last night. After this photo was taken, Greg hopped in the Beat and headed back to Portland, OR on a freezing night. That's dedication!

Feldtman Auto Detailing was over yesterday to demonstrate detailing magic on the 1981 Corvette...and its old metallic blue paint now actually seems to glow! For anyone in the south Puget Sound area needing mobile/come-to-you professional car, truck or other vehicle cleaning/polishing/detailing services, we highly recommend them. Gavin, the owner/operator, has skills, credentials, work ethic and is simply the type of self-made customer-focused professional who should be spotlighted and admired in our communities.

DON'T PANIC! Classic, used and even newer vehicles break down. It happens. Got a call from a family member today when his daily driver threw codes, stalled and started making really bad sporadic clacks from inside the engine as he pulled into work. He feared the worst (and honestly, so did we)! Hauled it back to check it out and it turned out to simply be the #3 spark plug failed -- totally losing its center electrode and having its center resistor drop past the ground strap, meaning it was erratically bouncing off the piston (and being far softer than the piston, it did no permanent damage.) We replaced all four spark plugs, so instead of an engine rebuild/replacement scenario instead was fixed for $17.
