Exhaust Specialty started in Olney June 1979. I worked for them a couple times until 1987 I became full time and have been there ever since. Became the owner in 97. I have really enjoyed doing exhaust work and helping customers get that sound they wanted whether it was loud or quiet. The time has come to move on. I have attempted to sell the business with the desire to keep the service available to the community but that attempt was not successful. I closed the business down December 1 with the intention to vacate the premises by the end of the year. As I said earlier, I have so enjoyed serving the community for nearly 40 years. I will definitely miss it but I feel it is time. Thank you all for trusting me over the years with your exhaust needs.

Not all of our jobs are car/truck related. Customer has owned this dirt bike since it was new. The exhaust had seen its better days. Replacement pipes are extremely pricey when you can find them. I welded the silencer back in to the muffler and had to weld a new ni**le on the front pipe. Also the flare was broken where the pipe attached to the engine. Fabricated a new flare and all that was left was assembly. Customer wanted to keep the original condition look hence no paint.
