Summer is here and it’s HOT! It is possible with this heat that your Pressure Relief Valve (Pop Off Valve) may go off on your tank. It will be loud but don’t panic! It should stop once the pressure in your tank goes back down. You can take your garden hose and run water over your tank to help cool it down. Please give us a call so that we are aware of the situation. If your tank is somewhat rusty, you will definitely need to paint it a heat reflective color (white or silver).
