A guy was at the light with his windows down blasting 'In The Air Tonight" and DID NOT do the air drums. I got his plate number and have given his description to the proper authorities.

Well, after I had a hissy fit followed by a stroke after th Governor's press conference. I read the order this morning and Auto Repair shops are exempted. So Jake's is still open for business. As long as we can still get parts, we'll be able to fix your vehicles.

Hey Kids, Unfortunately we've had an illness with one of our employees wife, and He is on double secret probation. Hopefully in these times, everyone will be ok. But, having him out means we will be closed temporarily on Saturdays.

With that and everyone saving their money for food or other emergencies, we sometimes may close early.

So, it's best to leave us a message and we will call you back as soon as we can to set up an appointment.

RN, just hang loose and this crap will be over before we know it.

Hey Kids! Jake is parting ways with two vehicles. Travis' 2000 Honda Accord EX. High miles but still a good car for someone to go to high School in. 4cyl. Automatic. Make an offer as this car doesn't owe me a penny.

Also, Jimmy's 1979 Camaro. Resto project, but runs like a top. New carb, crate motor 350, rebuilt Auto trans. Optional Journey Escape CD included😀 She needs paint and interior work but is a driver. Can bark the tires and have an extra hood and front bumper. Looking to get $5000 but will be realistic on offers.

One of my customers came in yesterday and we were just talking about things and he told me he just turned 98 yrs old on the 4th of July. It caught my interest because he's in such good shape (I'd guessed his 70s). Plus the fact that we just celebrated my uncle's 90th birthday and he's someone that looks and acts 50.

He proceeds to rant on his grandchildren, saying they need all these "computer games" and just sit for hours playing it. Then he says,. "Some of these kids are 28 yrs old and still play with toys; I had a job at 13 yrs old. If I told my old man I needed something to play with, he'd of said, 'Cut holes in your front pockets, that'll give you something to play with!'"

Made my day, and now I have a new line.

God bless our elderly. So wise.
