The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to once again announce the Sixteenth annual Southern Tier Corporate Challenge, presented by Mallery's Auto Body & Collision! Registration is now open for the 5k Run/2.1 Mile Fun Walk, taking place on Thursday, June 25 at 6 p.m. at SUNY JCC Olean Campus.
This exciting event promises an evening full of wellness, fun, and community spirit. Cross the finish line and keep the fun going at our After Party, featuring live music, refreshing drinks, and delicious food from GOACC Member Food Trucks including 3 C's Catering, Red Horse Grill, Papa Scoops, and The Pig-Out Place, along with favorites from GOACC Member Restaurants The Hatch Cafe and Century Manor.
Last year, over 1100 people joined the event, with runners coming as far as from Buffalo!
Participants can expect a professionally timed 5K run, thanks to professional equipment sponsored by Mallery’s Auto Body & Collision, where runners can compete for recognition, awards, and office bragging rights. Special thanks to Course Sponsors, Count On CCB and Solepoxy, Inc.
Think your company has what it takes to stand out from the crowd? Compete for our coveted Most Spirited Team Award! To be eligible, teams must:
• Wear matching team apparel
• Have participants in both the 5K Run and 2-Mile Walk
• Have at least one employee volunteer at the event
Need to recharge after the race? Treat yourself to a relaxing chair massage from Courteney Porter Massage Therapy, available on-site throughout the event.
Not a runner? That’s fine, too! Those who choose not to run can enjoy a leisurely stroll with friends and colleagues in the non-timed Fun Walk. If you’d like to enjoy the event but cannot participate in either, the GOACC is always looking for volunteers to help direct runners, hand out waters, or work registration!
Teams made up of employees of GOACC Member businesses should enter the Corporate Division. Public participants who aren't employed by a GOACC member business are able to register as individuals or on their own Community Team. Hybrid teams will also join the Community Division. The minimum age to participate in either the run or walk is 16.

The GOACC will be doing early packet pickup for large teams again this year, with more information on that process to come. We highly encourage large teams to name a team captain to participate in early packet pick-up and hand out their bibs prior to race day to bypass any confusion and prolonged wait time at registration.
GOACC Member pricing through June 23 is $26 per participant, then $30 on race day. Non-member pricing through June 23 is $31 per participant, then $35 on race day.
Participants will receive a complimentary food voucher and one free beverage ticket (with proof of legal age) with their official race bib, and complimentary waters throughout the event.
All participants will be IDed at registration before they are given their wristband, sponsored by Fox Financial, and beverage ticket. Additional beverage tickets will be sold.
