Auto Service is a full service auto repair shop that has been around since 1993. Auto Service of Old Saybrook is a family owned and operated business.

It is run and managed by Bill Atwood who has had a passion for working on vehicles since he was 15. Bill is an ASE certified master technician and has years of experience working on vehicles. Auto Service can meet all of your Automotive needs from major repairs to fixing a flat tire and anything in between on your daily driver or a classic car. Auto Service specializes in working on Classic Automobiles and especially early 60's to mid 70's Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth Muscle cars. This 1973 Cuda 360 is in for some brake work, alignment, and tune work.

Frank took his 1968 Roadrunner into the 11s at Cecil County Dragway. We assembled his 400 based 512 stroker motor. It’s a pump gas, hydraulic roller, stock appearing street build that occasionally see’s the track.

With Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals approaching here’s what we brought last year. Jerry’s Beautiful A990. The body and paint was done by The Finer Details, Inc. and Bill Sr assembled it with help from Hemi Eddy.

This GTO is leaving after a fresh clutch install.

This 68 Cuda came in for some suspension upgrades. We installed some PST torsion bars and Qa1 upper control arms. Then we Aligned it to make it Handle like it was new.

This Semi was a nail biter Bill Sr wheeled the Roadrunner to a hole shot win by .03 seconds against Don G. It was one of the best races we’ve had in a long time.

I was helping Ed Cook with his Max Wedge on some suspension and tuning. He drove the car to it over all best time of 9.94 and multiple 1.49 sixty foots.

It’s been a good day so far at cecilcountydragway racing today. The Roadrunner’s been on a string of 9.80’s all day. I’ve also been helping out Ed Cook with his 63 Max Wedge. It went an all time best of 9.95 with a 1.49 sixty foot.
