Almost every day people ask how to run skein. A lot of people don't know how to tie an egg loop or what to do. So, here is my newest invention ( which Im sure many have done). But they didn't give these a name, so I just did! They are called SKEGGS. It's just skein wrapped in some netting. Anyway, have fun. We have a few skeggs ready here.

Fishing Olcott right now is insane! It's rocking from the piers all the way down to the dam. Harbor is hot! Its back to awesome right now like it used to be.

Fishing the Olcott piers is real good right now. A lot of browns and kings moving in. Shoreline fishing is good too. Burt has browns and a few salmon.

Saturday is National Hunting and Fishing Day - so it's free fishing day in New York state for anyone.

What is with the storm that came in out of nowhere! It was totally unexpected and blew in from Canada. I think the lake doesn't like her name change. I shouldn't of listened to Alexa this morning. She said 79 degrees and a "Chance" of thunderstorms this afternoon. At 7 am, this blew in like a freight train.
