A reminder for the Johnson County Old Settlers Car Show this Saturday Sept 12 9-2. It will be at the Mill Creek Learning Center in Olathe, Kansas.

Over 60 awards including seperate classes for Chevy, Ford, and Mopar Muscle Cars in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Multiple Best of Awards.

The temperature isn’t the only hot thing at Aeromotive Fuel Systems Fuel Good Fridays tonight! Some hot rod heavy hitters made an appearance tonight for the last Fuel Good Fridays of the year. Where else in Kansas can you see the Squeegs KustomsAmericas Most Beautiful winning 1932 ford roadster, blown Dodge AA/100, and 1933 Ford sedan, the Big Creek Restoration built 1933 Ford roadster that won Goodguys Street Rod of the Year, the Hot Rod Garage Inc built 1970 Challenger that won Street Machine of the Year at the Triple Crown of Rodding, the Ryno Built 1955 Chevy, and Zwygarts Hot Rodz built 1967 Nova.

For my 1932 Ford guys out there. We got a set of the hood alignment pins that Mark Blackketter and Mike Martin have been working on installed on my 3 window coupe project. I recommend looking at these to nail your hood sides always closing in the exact same spot. The alignment pin bracket goes under your Kugel hood prop and doesn’t interfere with it at all. The hardest part is finding exactly where in the frame rail to drill for the pin locator. We drilled a 1/4 hole that the pin fit in snugly to verify it was in the right place, then drilled the hole bigger and tapped it for the pin locator.
