origin side skirts are atrocious to deal with when it comes to fitting flush without hardware to hold it in to the fender/quarter
The view of origin side skirts from above after trimming like crazy and still a massive fitment issue.
Rear of the origin side skirts lines up flush with the overfender but for some reason they didnt make it like that for the front of the side skirt vs the fender
This is a vertex side skirts, and you can see how it hides the overfender’s step in
Front of the vertex side skirts match up very well with the front fenders step in as well
Look at the curvature difference on each side skirt, both are supposed to go around the same door for the same car, yet completely different shapes up top. Vertex required virtually no work to fit so well, and origin took an entire day to attempt to get it to sit flush only for it to fail.
Modern day problems require modern day solutions, grafted the top of the vertex side skirts to the bottom of the origin side skirts to achieve good fitment while retaining the flared out look that 𝑻𝑹𝑬𝑾𝑨𝒀 𝑱𝑶𝑵𝑬𝑺 desired.
Most shops will just throw the kit on the car and say “we did everything we could to make it look good” as their excuse.
No excuses round here, only results 👀
