🚛 WORK TRUCK AIR BAG INSTALLATION 🔧

Customer came into REVOLUTION AUTO CENTER wanting air bags installed on his work truck because it was leaning under load.

The customer provided the air bag kit, and we took care of the installation and setup just like he wanted. The air bags provide additional rear-suspension support, helping reduce sagging and keep the truck sitting more level when carrying a load.

After installation, the truck is sitting level and looking the way the customer wanted. ✅

🚨 2012 FORD F-250 6.7L POWER STROKE – DEF CONTAMINATION! 🚨

🔧 REVOLUTION AUTO CENTER

This 2012 Ford F-250 was towed into our shop due to a no-start condition.

The customer explained that his employee had stopped to refill the DEF system after receiving a low DEF warning on the dashboard. Shortly after getting back on the road, the truck suddenly shut off and would not restart.

The customer confirmed that the truck had a full tank of diesel and approximately half a tank of DEF.

🔍 OUR DIAGNOSIS:

After inspecting the vehicle, we discovered that the employee had accidentally poured DEF fluid directly into the DIESEL FUEL TANK! 😳

DEF contamination can cause crystallization, leaving behind white, salt-like deposits that can severely damage the fuel system, including the high-pressure fuel pump, injectors and fuel lines.

⚠️ EXPENSIVE MISTAKE!

A simple mix-up between DEF and diesel can potentially lead to thousands of dollars in repairs.

REMEMBER: DEF belongs ONLY in the DEF tank, NEVER in the diesel fuel tank!

🔧 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI — Only 96,000 Miles

This truck came into REVOLUTION AUTO CENTER with a blinking Check Engine Light and a noticeable misfire.

After diagnosing the vehicle, we found misfires on cylinders 6 and 8. Further inspection showed that the lifters on both cylinders were not moving properly, causing the misfire.

Once the repair was approved and we began tearing the engine down, we discovered the camshaft was being eaten away by the failing lifters.

We completed the necessary repairs, including:

✅ Replaced head gaskets
✅ Replaced lifters
✅ Replaced roller assemblies
✅ Replaced camshaft
✅ Resurfaced the cylinder heads for proper gasket seating
✅ Reassembled and properly checked the engine

After everything was completed, we fired it back up and the difference was clear. The misfire was gone, the Check Engine Light issue was resolved, and the HEMI is running and sounding like it should. 🔥

We’re glad we caught this problem before it turned into major engine damage. At only 96,000 miles, this truck still has plenty of life left in it. 💪
