The damage is frustrating. The claims process shouldn't be.

After a storm, one of the first calls you'll make is to your insurance company. During that conversation, you may be given the name of a "preferred" or "network" repair shop.

Here's what every Oklahoma driver should know:

You have the legal right to choose the repair shop that repairs your vehicle.

In Oklahoma, insurance companies may recommend a repair facility, but they cannot legally require you to use one or steer you away from the shop you choose. And if you’re told your repair won’t be warrantied unless you use their shop, that is not true. Freeman Collision Center offers a lifetime warranty, regardless of which insurance company handles the claim.

At Freeman Collision Center, we've been helping Oklahoma drivers through the claims process since 1968. We'll work directly with your insurance company, help with supplements if additional damage is found, and keep you informed every step of the way.

If your vehicle was damaged in the recent storms:

📷 Document it. Take photos before moving debris, if it's safe to do so.

📞 Report it. Contact your insurance company to open your claim.

🚗 Choose your repair shop. Let your adjuster know where you want your vehicle repaired.

We're here to make the process as smooth as possible, so you can focus on getting back on the road.

🌿 Tree branches don't have to fall on your car to leave their mark.

After a storm like the one we just had, we're seeing vehicles with long scratches from branches dragged across doors, fenders, and hoods. Those scratches can cut through the clear coat and, if ignored, may eventually lead to bigger problems.

The good news? They don't have to stay there.

At Freeman Collision Center, we use computerized paint matching and professional refinishing techniques to restore your vehicle's factory finish. When the repair is complete, it should look like the scratches were never there.

If your vehicle picked up storm damage, stop by and let us take a look. We'll explain your options, answer your questions, and help you decide what makes the most sense.

It is an unwritten law of Oklahoma weather: the higher the wind gusts, the more your neighborhood trash cans decide to take a joyride down the block. 💨🗑️

Chasing your bin across three lawns is bad enough. Finding out it left fresh dents, paint chips, or deep scratches on your vehicle? Rude.

Whether it’s a heavy tree branch across your roof or cosmetic damage from a rogue flying object, Freeman Collision Center is here to smooth things over.

We’ve been restoring storm-damaged vehicles in the OKC metro for over 50 years, and we’ll help with the insurance process from inspection to final detail.

Let’s make those dings disappear like they never happened.

If you woke up after the July 4 storms and found a limb across your hood, cracked glass, or new scratches from flying debris, you’re not alone.

Severe Oklahoma wind can do a number on a vehicle. The damage may be obvious, or it may be something that needs a closer look.

At Freeman Collision Center, we’ll walk you through the repair process, help with the insurance side, and restore your vehicle the right way, from structural repairs to factory-color paint matching and glass replacement.

Every repair is backed by our lifetime warranty, and we’ll fully detail your vehicle inside and out before handing back the keys.

The storm already caused enough stress. Let us take it from here.
