The damage is frustrating. The claims process shouldn't be.

After a storm, one of the first calls you'll make is to your insurance company. During that conversation, you may be given the name of a "preferred" or "network" repair shop.

Here's what every Oklahoma driver should know:

You have the legal right to choose the repair shop that repairs your vehicle.

In Oklahoma, insurance companies may recommend a repair facility, but they cannot legally require you to use one or steer you away from the shop you choose. And if you’re told your repair won’t be warrantied unless you use their shop, that is not true. Freeman Collision Center offers a lifetime warranty, regardless of which insurance company handles the claim.
