Car show still going on.

The City of Moore is modifying its annual Celebration in the Heartland Event for July 4th.

The car show will remain from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Buck Thomas Park. The fireworks show will remain at dark (beginning around 9:45 p.m.).

Buck Thomas Park will be open for spectators to visit the car show earlier in the day and then return later that evening to enjoy the 24-minute long firework spectacular.

Events and attractions that were previously scheduled throughout the day and evening have been canceled.

According to City Manager, Brooks Mitchell, “After a collaborative discussion with the Cleveland County Health Department, the City of Moore staff believes the safest way to celebrate together is to limit our celebrations to include only the car show and fireworks display”.

Rainbow girls car show is next Saturday and they are in desperate need of ads. Please if you can afford to help please do. It can be a business or a personal name. Ads are $100 to $200. This is a great time for small businesses to get a small price ad on 150 shirts. Please help the Rainbow Girls out.

Hey guys still looking for ads for the 10th annual Rainbow Girls 4th of July car show. Ads are $100 & $200 you don't have to be a business to have an ad. Help these sweet hard working girls out. This is their main fund raiser of the year. With Covid they are having a hard time finding ads. Let us know if you can help. Hello all. Long time no see. Hope everyone is well. City of Moore is still having it's Celebration in the Heartland including our car show July 4th. With that being said the girls that we raise money for each year for this car show is in desperate need. With all the Covid stuff they are really struggling to find sponsors for ad on the back of the shirt. They need ads, business or personal. You can have your name on their shirts or a business. Small ad is $100.00 large ad is $200.00. They needs tons and this is their largest fundraiser of the year. So if you feel in your heart to help them please let me know. Thank you
