⛽ CHEAP GAS COULD COST YOU MORE THAN YOU THINK! 🚗

We all love finding a good deal at the pump, but did you know the quality of the fuel you're putting in your vehicle can affect more than just your gas mileage?

Let's talk about your catalytic converter.

Your catalytic converter is responsible for reducing harmful emissions from your vehicle's exhaust. And replacing one? Well, that's an expense nobody wants!

Here's where fuel quality comes into play. 👇

⛽ Lower-quality gasoline with fewer cleaning additives can contribute to carbon buildup inside your engine.

🔧 That buildup can affect engine performance and contribute to combustion problems.

🔥 If your engine starts misfiring or sending unburned fuel into the exhaust, your catalytic converter can overheat and become damaged.

If anyone ever asks me what it’s like working in the automotive industry…

I’d first tell them, it’s hell.

Having to tell people that they have to spend 100’s of dollars on something they already spent 1000’s on is never fun and car repair is stressful no matter how you dice it.

But, then I’d tell them it’s rewarding.

The knowledge gained about certain vehicles, the returning customers that we’ve built trust with, the families we’ve kept safely on the road.. its the high in a sea of lows that come with running an auto repair shop.

I’m proud of the services and team we have here at Brookwood Automotive.

I’m grateful for our techs that have the skills that keep this place and our customers vehicles running smoothly.
