Today, we took some time to celebrate our incredible employees with a team luncheon and awards presentation!

This group continues to impress me with how well they work together, support one another, and rise to every challenge. Year after year, they exceed our goals and set new benchmarks for what Doc’s Automotive can accomplish.

Right to Repair sounds like a niche wrench monkey issue until you realize it's actually about whether you, the person who bought the car, get to decide where it gets fixed, because automakers have been quietly locking diagnostic data and repair information behind proprietary firewalls, turning routine maintenance into dealership only errands at dealership prices.

The fight just got messier: The "freedom to fix" memo only covers emissions parts and deliberately sidesteps the real issue, Ford and GM backed a new bill that stripped out the telematics data provision, the part that would actually let you and your mechanic access your own car's information, before it passed committee, and Jim Farley somehow managed to argue that cars are too complicated for you to fix while his own factories in Mexico and China are outbuilding his American plants on quality. Cool.

What an awesome Wednesday evening at Music in the Park! 🎶

A huge thank you to Meridian Township and the incredible Parks & Recreation team. Courtney, Mike, and everyone involved put so much time and heart into creating events that bring our community together.

We're also incredibly grateful for the recognition tonight as a primary community sponsor. Giving back to the community that has supported our family business for the past 23 years is something we truly believe in, and we're honored to play a small part in helping make events like this possible.
