2020 Barber Vintage Festival canceled due to COVID-19
All ticket holders to be refunded
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (August 21, 2020) – The Barber Motorsports Park and ZOOM Motorsports announced today that the 2020 Barber Vintage Festival presented by BMW Motorrad and associated events scheduled for October 9-11, 2020, will be canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis. This decision was reached after carefully consulting with local and state public health professionals.
“Each year we look forward to the opportunity to share our passion for the sport of motorcycling with our friends, family and guests that attend this event. We have guests that travel from all points of this great Country as well as guests from around the world,” said Jeff Ray, Executive Director of the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. “Unfortunately, we are navigating very uncertain and unpredictable times. We felt canceling the 2020 Barber Vintage Festival presented by BMW Mottorad was a necessary decision to keep our community safe.”
“It was a difficult decision to cancel the Barber Vintage Festival presented by BMW Mottorad,” said Gene Hallman, President of ZOOM Motorsports. “As we continue to deal with the impacts of COVID-19 on our community, canceling this year’s event was the only way to ensure the safety of our guests, our volunteers, and staff. We look forward to seeing all of our racers, vendors, partners, and fans in 2021.”
Next year’s Barber Vintage Festival is scheduled for October 8-10, 2021, at Barber Motorsports Park.
Refunds will be given in full within 7-10 business days for all ticket and camping purchases for the 2020 Barber Vintage Festival.
