Hey Ogden Redditors! 🌟

Looking for a fun and casual way to get out of your vehicular exoskeleton and enjoy the city on two wheels? Or maybe you're just looking to meet other bike-minded Ogdenites?

Join us for a relaxed group ride through the heart of Ogden. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just want to cruise, everyone is welcome! No racing, no pressure—just good vibes, fresh air, and great company. 😎

Forgive the short notice, but winter is coming, and we’ve got to make the most of these beautiful fall evenings! 🍂

📅 When: This Wednesday
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM (Meet up at 5:45 PM)
📍 Where: 25th & Grant @ the Sledding Statue
🚲 What to Bring: Your bike, helmet, lights, and a smile!
⏳ Duration: The ride will take about an hour, and we’ll finish back where we started.

We’ll take a scenic route through the city, stopping for laughs, chats, and maybe even a snack.

Afterward, stick around for some drinks and good conversation—because what’s better than a post-ride refreshment? 🍻

Huge thanks to Threshold Sports for coming out and supporting the Mayor's bike to work day today. These folks fixed breakfast and played you music and just all around took care of us. What a great group and the pancakes weren't bad either. Thanks guys!

2016 Utah Bike Summit: Shifting Into High Gear

This year's summit will be held on April 5th at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City and we are bringing Copenhagen to Utah. This year's keynote speaker is Danish bicycle transportation expert Mikael Colville-Andersen. Here is a link to one of Mikael's TED Talks. We will also have a closing address from Andy Clarke who served as the president of the League of American Bicyclists for 12 years before stepping down last year. In addition, there will be an update from UDOT Deputy Director Shane Marshall. The remainder of the day will be filled with breakout sessions that cover a wide variety of subjects related to increasing and improving bicycling across Utah.
