One of the Cars that can be view at the Odenville Car Show is this Pontiac Firebird! Meet the Owner, Paul Perry!

I have been a Pontiac fan since I started driving. My first cars were a 1968 Firebird and then a 1974 Lemans.
I went many years where I didn’t have a special car due to kids and family requirements. Stayed active in the hobby by attending and hosting many car shows throughout the years. 6 years ago I was able to jump back into Pontiac ownership with a 2002 Trans Am 6pd convertible and just recently purchased a 2002 Trans Am WS6 with just 8000 miles.
It won’t stay that way for long!
My wife and I love to travel with the t-tops off with the drive being more important than the destination! Some of our favorite stops are Cruising the Coast in Biloxi, Gadsden First Friday, Motors on Main in Leeds and of course the Odenville Car Show every October!!!

This Week's Challenge
Let's make someone's day.
This week...
Visit a locally owned business you've never been inside before.
Maybe it's...
A boutique.
A coffee shop.
A restaurant.
A hardware store.
A bakery.
A florist.
Walk in.
Say hello.
Support local.
Then come back and tell us where you went.
Who knows...
You may discover your new favorite place.
❤️

We have the perfect opportunity for you to do this tomorrow by joining the Greater Odenville Chamber to the Ribbon Cutting at Two Blessed Friends right here in Odenville! Check out the flyer below! Hope to see you there!

Forty Days to Go!
Forty days.
That means we're getting close enough to start imagining the sights...
The sounds...
The laughter...
The smell of barbecue in the air...
Children pointing at cars they've never seen before...
Friends catching up...
Families making memories...
Volunteers welcoming guests...
Classic engines coming to life.
This isn't just another Saturday.
It's a tradition.
One we'll soon get to enjoy together.
Who's counting down with us?

What's One Skill Someone Took the Time to Teach You?
Maybe...
Someone taught you to fish.
To drive a tractor.
To rebuild an engine.
To sew.
To cook.
To weld.
To change a tire.
To balance a checkbook.
To run a business.
To keep going when life got hard.
Today's question...
Who taught you something you'll never forget?
Let's celebrate the people who invested in us.
Because every lesson shared has the power to shape another generation.

Small Town Wisdom
Growing up in a small town teaches you things that can't always be found in a book.
Wave at your neighbors.
Keep your word.
Help when someone needs it.
Support local.
Treat people with respect.
Leave things better than you found them.
Those aren't just good life lessons.
They're the foundation of strong communities.
What's one lesson your hometown taught you?
❤️

Why Do We Love Classic Cars?
Maybe it isn't the chrome.
Or the horsepower.
Or the sound.
Maybe...
It's because they remind us of people.
Grandpa's pickup.
Mom's station wagon.
Dad's first Mustang.
Your first car.
A first date.
A first job.
A first road trip.
Cars become time machines.
They take us back to moments we'll never forget.
What's one vehicle you'll always remember?
Tell us why.

Cruisin' the Community
Meet Your Neighbor
Every community has people who quietly make it better.
The coach who stays late.
The teacher who buys supplies with their own money.
The waitress who remembers everyone's order.
The mechanic who helps someone in need.
The business owner who sponsors local events.
The volunteer who never asks for recognition.
Today's question...
Who is someone in our community that deserves a simple "thank you"?
Tag them below.
Let's brighten someone's day.

Meet the Heart of the Show Our Sponsors
Have you ever attended an event and thought,
"Everything just seemed to run so smoothly."
That doesn't happen by accident.
Behind every parking sign...Every vendor booth...Every trophy...Every registration table...Every smiling volunteer...
Are people who invested countless hours because they believe our community is worth it.
The Odenville Car Show isn't built by one person.
It isn't even built by one organization.
It's built by people who care enough to give their time, talents, and hearts.
As we continue our countdown, you'll begin meeting some of those incredible people.
Because they deserve to be celebrated, too.

What's the Best Lesson Your Dad (or Father Figure) Ever Taught You?
Maybe it was...
"Always tell the truth."
"Leave it better than you found it."
"If you're going to do something...
Do it right."
Many of us learned life's greatest lessons while working in the garage...
Fixing a lawn mower...
Changing oil...
Building a fence...
Or simply sitting on the front porch talking.
Today we'd love to hear yours.
What's one lesson you've carried with you throughout your life?
Someone reading today might need to hear it.
