Get to know the man behind ProBros Hot Rods!

Nick grew up in the garage, working alongside his dad and grandfather, learning the ins and outs of cars from an early age. With a strong family background in racing and mechanics—everything from off-road racing to circle track—working on vehicles has always been second nature to him.

He earned an Associate’s degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Seminole State College and spent two years interning at Johnny’s Hot Rods & Classics while in school. Nick stayed on for another three years, getting hands-on experience in every part of the restoration process, from full tear-downs and frame-off builds to parts sourcing and final assembly.

In 2024, Nick opened his own shop and has since worked on a wide variety of vehicles. His work includes a truck that was showcased at SEMA and featured in Street Trucks Magazine, as well as the Sargent Square C10 that was auctioned off for charity. Today, Nick continues to build a solid reputation in the community for quality repairs, maintenance, restorations, and custom builds—always treating each vehicle like it’s his own.

When he’s not in the shop, Nick is out doing what he loves most—racing. He currently competes in pro truck racing at New Smyrna Speedway on the weekends, keeping his passion for speed alive both on and off the track. Outside of racing, he enjoys spending time with his wife, hanging out with his two dogs, Blazer and Daisy, and getting out on the boat with his family whenever he can.

Another GTO back on the road. This 66’ was in hibernation for over 15 years, but with some extensive TLC, she’s back to being a respectable cruiser. Started by rebuilding/replacing every piece of suspension front and rear. Front received coilovers and a disc brake upgrade. Rear got new trailing arms, springs, and shocks. All new rear brakes, brake lines, rear end detailed, and pinion seal. New gas tank and sending unit. Engine was detailed and resealed, and all new accessories. New intake and Holley carb replaced the tri-power set up, paired with a HEI distributor. Engine bay was detailed while the drivetrain was removed to match the engine cleanliness. New electrical in the engine bay. New cooling system with original style clutch fan that doesn’t overheat. Few upgrades include Dakota dash, retro sound radio, tremec tkx 5spd, and full magnaflow exhaust.

Tasteful 55’ Chevy we recently did some upgrades on. Did away with the glass fuse block and installed a modern push in style fuse block along with dash/ front lighting harness from American Autowire to eliminate wiring gremlins. New gas pedal and cable for a sleek look and feel (matching brake pad to come). To top it off, we added a set of Dapper Lighting classic switchback LED headlights, bringing the appearance to a whole new level.

87 k30 that recently went home. Customer loved the ac in his crew cab we did, so we went ahead and installed another vintage air system in this rig. Also added a headliner and trim, new vinyl floor, and had the front/ rear bumpers and mirrors powder coated.
