🛠Major Front Cap Structural Repair 🛠

This one was a project!

This fifth wheel came into Central State RV needing extensive repairs caused from the front end flex due to lack structure support.
What started on the outside required us to go much deeper to properly repair the structure underneath.
Our team removed the front cap and damaged exterior materials to gain access to the underlying structure. From there, we repaired and rebuilt the affected framing, replaced damaged backing and wall materials, reinforced the area, reinstalled insulation, and reconstructed the exterior before carefully reinstalling the front cap and trim.
The photos show the process from tear-down → structural repair → reconstruction → reassembly.
When repairing an RV, what you see on the outside is often only part of the story. We believe in getting down to the source of the problem and repairing it correctly—not simply covering it up.
Another major repair coming together at Central State RV. 💪

DON’T WAIT FOR A WATER LEAK! 🚐

Water intrusion is one of the most common—and expensive—types of RV damage. A small crack or opening in the sealant can allow water to get into your roof, walls, or flooring before you even realize there’s a problem.
🔧 Help protect your RV with regular sealant inspections!
We recommend checking: • Roof seams & transitions
• Vents, skylights & antennas
• A/C areas
• Windows & doors
• Slide-out seals & seams
• Front & rear caps
• Corner moldings & exterior fixtures
⚠️ Catching deteriorated sealant early can help prevent:
• Rotted roof decking
• Soft floors
• Wall damage
• Mold & mildew
• Expensive structural repairs
☀️ Florida heat, UV exposure, and heavy rain can take a toll on RV sealants. Routine inspections and resealing are much less expensive than repairing water damage later.
