Automotive Soft Trim is looking for a professional, organized, friendly, and motivated Receptionist / Personal Assistant to join our team in Ocala, Florida.

We’re more than an upholstery shop. We operate a worldwide upholstery forum with 112,000 members, run an in-person automotive upholstery training academy, and are beginning the process of expanding upholstery facilities through future franchise opportunities.

We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of that growth and has the ambition to advance into a potential Office Manager or Franchise Operations role.

💼 FULL-TIME POSITION
💰 Starting at $17/hour

• Additional raise consideration after 90 days

What a fantastic turnout for Twisted Artisans Interior Trim Academy’s second annual Mini Upholstery Convention!!! We were honored to have some of the industry’s leading companies in attendance, including Keyston Bros., Douglass Interior Products, NC Carpet Binding & Equipment, and Katzkin Leather Co.. Each brought strong presentations filled with valuable insights, sharing exclusive information about upcoming new facilities, innovative materials, and exciting collaborations — all before anyone else knew about them. Being ahead of the curve and well-informed like this is exactly what can give your business that crucial competitive edge and set you up for future success.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to join us, from vendors to future students, and anyone eager to expand their horizons. The second annual mini upholstery convention hosted by AutomotivUpholsterySchool.com was a solid event! We had awesome guest speakers from Keyston Bros., Douglass Interior Products, Inc., NC Carpet Binding & Equipment, and Katzkin Leather sharing their knowledge. After their great presentations, we ran a fun challenge where attendees cut out an S pattern with either a 3/8 or 1/2-inch allowance without using any allowance pins or markers. We measured their accuracy, and the winner scored a free 5-day class worth $1495, plus we gave away a free 3-day workshop valued at $895. Everyone got a swag bag and extra apparel, and those who stayed for the whole event also walked away with a free pair of NC scissors of their choice. More photos from the event are coming tomorrow. This coming Saturday, October 3rd, we’re opening the doors for our FREE Open House & Mini Upholstery Convention at: AutomotiveUpholsterySchool.com for tickets.

This isn’t your ordinary open house. We’re bringing some of our industry partners together for a full day of training, demonstrations, networking, and industry insight.
