OFFICE HELP NEEDED! Position entails (but is not limited to): Filing, answering phones and taking messages, dealing with customers in person, checking in inventory, purchase order entry & inventory control, shipping, new work intake, maintaining open work orders, creating sales invoices, general cleaning. Computer skills are absolutely required. Must be comfortable with internet based programs. Familiarity with Excel & Word needed. We will train new hire on an industry specific (quirky) software. All candidates must have strong organizational skills; Ability to communicate clearly with co-workers and customers; Detail oriented and be dependable.

Knowledge of automotive terminology needed. Experience in some aspects of this position is required. We are an automotive engine rebuilding machine shop so this is not the traditional "clean office" environment. However, we are looking for a person that can be a professional in this situation and fit in with a small (10 people) family run business.

Hours are flexible but will be at least 4-5 hrs./ day M-F. This position could evolve into full time for the right person.

Re-cutting o-ring grooves after a much needed resurface. These heads survived being a nitrous engine, and then a twin turbo monster making 3000+hp without ever getting torched, but eventually things get a little warped. .005 resurface, and re-cut the grooves within .002 to put a .003 bigger wire in. Going cross-eyed getting these grooves lined up but it turned out great.
