AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM BRADSHAW OWNER SUSAN ATKINS!
Dear Friends,
It is with mixed emotions that I share the news that Bradshaw Chrysler Jeep, as you have known it, is closing. After 88 years in business, it is time.
Although I love the business and wish I could continue to drive it like I was still 40, I regretfully acknowledge that the years have caught up with me and it is time to retire.
The good news is that I have sold Bradshaw’s to the Shaker family and they will build a new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram facility at 1230 Main Street in Watertown. So, we’ll just be moving up the street. You will recognize many familiar faces and receive the same good service that you have received here.
Through the years I have been approached by many potential buyers yet never felt a good fit. Letting go of a family legacy is very difficult yet I feel good about this sale. Although the Shaker's have many stores, they are still a family owned dealership, they are also third generation owners, celebrating their 89th year in business. You can only stay in business for 89 years if you treat your customers and employees like family. They do business the way we do business, their logo; “Buy Transparently”.
I thank you for being our customer, for being part of the Bradshaw family. I thank you for your support and friendship. I will miss seeing you, watching your children grow and meeting your grandchildren. You have given me much joy through the years. I believe, however that I am leaving you in good hands.
On behalf of Victor and all Bradshaw staff, warm thanks and our very best wishes to you all.
Sincerely,
Susan Atkins
