What keeps a floating dock level and supported on the water?

Much of the answer is underneath the dock itself.

Wahoo Docks uses foam filled PermaFloat drums mounted beneath the aluminum frame to provide buoyancy and support.

Using in house analysis software, Wahoo determines the size and placement of these floats to account for the dock’s weight distribution and help achieve level flotation.

It’s an important part of dock construction that often goes unnoticed, but plays a major role in how the finished dock sits on the water.

2023 MasterCraft XT23
140 hours with SurfStar, CoolFeel upholstery, tower speakers, and seating for 16. Finished in Stealth Gray and Kahuna Blue Flake.

2025 Cobalt R4
72 hours on a 350 HP MerCruiser engine. Features dual Garmin displays, a convertible sundeck lounger, premium audio, and Cobalt’s flip down Swim Step.

2022 MasterCraft X24
115 hours with a 430 HP Ilmor engine, SurfStar, FastFill ballast, and a Z8 power folding tower. Finished in Midnite Black and Combat Green, with heated helm and observer seats.

A double deck dock creates additional space to enjoy your waterfront while keeping your boat slips and main dock area below.

Wahoo Docks offers custom double deck configurations that can incorporate upper level seating areas, stairs, railings, and covered boat slips. The layout can be tailored to the property, the boats being accommodated, and how the owner plans to use the space.
