We have heard it several times. “I heard you sold Coarsegold Car Care and there is a new owner” Originally that would have been the case and plan and we would have sold the business to one of our employees that was planning to take over, but the new owners of the Golden Creek Center complex made it virtually impossible with an absolutely ridiculous new lease term and conditions that were seemingly close to illegal and an unethical approach to strong arm their tenants into a new unrealistic lease platform. This is why you see most businesses there moving or talking about moving. But the big thing is, There is a big misunderstanding happening. Coarsegold Car Care did not sell and is still in business and Changed the name to Kwik Stop Automotive about 2 months before we moved. It has moved to Oakhurst at 48409 Victoria Lane. Another person leased the old building, then put the name Coarsegold “Auto” Care (not to be confused with Coarsegold Car Care although it is actually very confusing to a lot of people) on the building and is telling people he is the new owner. To be clear this is not the same shop, repeat not the same old honest shop you are used to and not affiliated. (Not saying they are not honest just stating that the old honest people you are used to dealing with are not there) This shop does not have your long time records, and does not have any affiliation with the original Coarsegold Car Care. Because of this confusion and because most of our clients are located in Coarsegold we are offering rides home and pickup services. If a car is immobilized and can’t be taken in we offer discounted or waived towing rates if the car is coming to our shop for repair. Discounts for customer loyalty on any services if you mention this post and continue sticking with us in our new location. We apologize for the confusion and hope all of you who have been our customers understand why we had no choice but to move and stick with us. We don’t feel it is fair that a new business moved in and is riding the coat tails of the name without actually purchasing the business and not telling people the real story about not being affiliated with the original business.
