For fifteen years, Marty Maggio was one of the first faces customers met when they walked into Oak Lawn Toyota's finance office, and he made every single one of them feel like family. He had this way about him. Warm, patient, always ready with a smile and a genuine question about your day. Customers didn't just work with Marty once; they came back and asked for him by name, year after year.
We lost Marty this week at 67, and it's hit our whole Oak Lawn Toyota family hard. At this dealership, we've always believed our people are what make this place special, and Marty was living proof of that. He wasn't just great at his job. He was the guy who remembered your kid's name, asked how your mom was doing, and meant it every time.
This is a tough loss for all of us. Marty leaves behind sons Martin Jr. and Anthony, his companion Margaret, granddaughters Bella and Lili who he adored, his sister Margaretann, and a family that clearly meant the world to him.
