Haven’t posted in a while due to shoulder surgery..
But this one I gottta show some of my customers an fans that follow!!
Customer brings me his car big block Chevy in a gbody that someone else did a bunch of work on..
So he brings the car by an says it doesn’t run good at all an that he bought this motor from another guy an it ran great in his car but they put it in his car an can’t figure out why it runs like s**t!!
So first thing I see is after the car is off carb starts smoking like it’s leaking so we find a bunch of metal in the carb
Call the customer up an tell him I ask was the tank cleaned out after they did the sump he says yep to his knowledge
so I start pulling lines off an taking the regulator apart come to find out everything is full of metal shavings an everything has to be changed an cleaned!!
Tore up his holley blue pump!!
Here are some pics of what I found!!
Gotta clean this shot out before you start building fuel lines an putting the car together!!
