Be safe out there today! Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

Twas the day before Halloween. All through the town. The ghosts were preparing as the sun went down. The pumpkins were glowing. The witches took flight, and the skeletons were ready for a spooky good night!

The candy was stocked. The costumes were ready, and parents were praying their nerves would stay steady. The kids want their chocolate. The adults want their w**e. But, drinking and driving? That’s crossing the line!

Drivers, slow down and watch for little feet. Excited trick-or-treaters may dart into the street. Parents, bring flashlights and reflective gear. And make sure your little monsters stay near! Use sidewalks and crosswalks and look both ways and if you’re drinking, hand over the keys and call it a day!

Have fun. Get spooky. Enjoy all the fright. But, make sure everyone gets home safely Halloween night! From Wilton Police, a reminder for you. Stay safe, have fun, and save us some Reese’s too!

Remember to honor and thank the veterans who have served our country. 🇺🇸

Join the City of Norwalk and the Norwalk Veterans Memorial Committee for the annual Veterans Day Commemoration on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at City Hall’s Concert Hall.

The American Festival Band will perform at 10:30 AM, followed by the ceremony at 11 AM. A reception will follow in the Community Room.

We look forward to coming together as a community to honor and thank the veterans who have served our country.
