So guys Got some Racing News.
I found a place that is big enough to put a decent track in (bigger than our last one). I can get in on December 1st. it is on the first floor with easy parking, load in and out. Who is serious about racing some carpet here in the Norwalk area?
The rent is not cheap, and I will have to buy the carpet (the good black carpet) wood for a driver's stand etc.
I am thinking 1/10 scale TCS, 1/12 scale GT12/pan, and I really want to do carpet offroad and have a few guys interested in oval racing.
For the carpet offroad I am thinking of the Losi mini b or associated 1/14 scale cars to help keep the carpet from being destroyed by the weight of impact from the jumps and still have a good car to tune and handle the jumps. This will be addressed at a later time 1/10 buggy is possible if we have enough guys to support it.
this will solely be my baby, from rules to classes etc.
The new place will have heat and air conditioning so we can do a few races throughout the summer.
