A golf cart is built for the golf course. An LSV is built for the road.

That’s the difference. And it’s a big one.

LSVs come with a VIN number, seatbelts, turn signals, headlights, and a speedometer. They can be registered, insured, and driven legally on Connecticut roads posted 25 mph or lower — just like any other motor vehicle.

Golf carts can’t do any of that in most Connecticut towns.
