A major improvement project is coming to the Harvey Street and Sternberg Road intersection. The project will 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗽.

🚦 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪:

Phase 1 construction is scheduled to start 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Access to Harvey St. will be completely closed north of the intersection. 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄.

Can you believe it?! ❄️ Snow is in the forecast… and Santa is on his way! 🎅😂

Sorry, I’m just trying to stay ahead of Meijer and Walmart, they already have all the Halloween stuff out! 🎃

I know it’s still 80+ degrees, the boat isn’t even put away yet, but it might be time to start shopping for those snow tires… a few months early. 🤣

Alright, alright… carry on with summer. The groundhog said we’ve got 8 more weeks left anyway! ☀️🌴💕💕💕💕

Today we remember the men and women who gave everything so the rest of us could live free.

Not for recognition. Not for applause. But for duty, for country, and for the people they loved back home.

May we never treat their sacrifice casually. May we live lives worthy of what they gave.

Freedom is not free.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a reminder that freedom was purchased by men and women willing to give everything for something greater than themselves.

James A. Garfield once said they “summed up and perfected, by one supreme act, the highest virtues of men and citizens.” “For love of country they accepted death, and thus resolved all doubts, and made immortal their patriotism and their virtue.”
