y at reasonable prices. Valley Head Service’s legacy was not built over night, but by legendary names with storied legacies of there own. First to use Valley Head Service’s expertise was Carroll Shelby back in the 1960’s. Others would follow. Names like Holman/Moody, Smokey Yunick, Warren Johnson, Jim Hall, Don Pruhdomme, George Fulmer, and “Fast” Jack Beckman. Your legacy could start here too. Over the past ten years there has been a resurgence in the classic restoration of vintage automobiles. Many museums, private collectors, and restorers have called on Valley Head Service for their extensive abilities to bring back to life engines more than one hundred years old. Classic names such as:

Duesenberg, Mercedes Benz, Ford Motor Co., Cadillac, Studebaker, Packard, Peugeot, Hispano Souiza, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Harley Davidson, Indian, Triumph, BSA, and Pierce Arrow. Over the years, Valley Head Service has developed products that bring better performance to modern engines. Their Dry Sump Pump is one of the original designs that has been duplicated, but never improved upon. Valley Head Service helped developed and now has sole copyright owner of Thunder Power. Thunder Power Cylinder Heads: a four-valve, big block Chevy delivering more horsepower at lower RPMs. Originally developed for military applications, Thunder Power is now used on the street and strip for that extra performance. Its a slow grind of a project building a racecar from scratch, but Steve Foster of Santa Maria has completed the fabrication of the headers for the ThunderPower heads he's using for his wheel standing Vega Panel Wagon.

He's now working on the plumbing and wiring before having the body painted and then is should be ready for testing.

Flashback Friday to the mid-70's and the west coast Pro Stock wars with the Scribner Brothers Racing (Tom, Dick and Harry) Camaro. The brothers were based out of Simi Valley and race well into the 90's. Harry, who was the team driver, passed away last month. RIP our friend.
