Hope everyone is having a good evening! We spent the evening helping out a new returning customer with her Nissan Xterra that was throwing camshaft position sensor codes, we got the sensor swapped out for codes are gone, running good, but she also mentioned that she was having a clicking noise while driving, so upon diagnostics found the front drive shaft U joints completely worn out, with that being said, I’ve got the drive shaft pulled out for, gonna rebuild the joints for the shaft tomorrow, and she’s gonna bring it back and we’re gonna put the drive shaft back in for, and she’ll be good as new! with that being said no matter what your car is doing, big noises or small noises or anything in between, it’s always good to have them checked. She’s very lucky that we caught this issue when we did. If that driveshaft would’ve fell out, it could’ve caused a lot more damage, especially to the wire and harness or any kind of sensors, anything like that. I mean, it could even cause accidents, so it’s good that I found this issue for her and will get her back rolling and she’s good to go. If anybody has any questions or need any help, give us a call! I am going to post the video of her driveshaft and the movement that it should not have in the comments. I was gonna add it to the post, but I’m having some issues uploading tonight! (336)-941-1662
