Judging and tabulating scores for 400+ cars, in 85° weather, all in a couple hours is no daunting task, but our amazing crew got the job done. There were some absolutely beautiful machines on display. From mild to wild, and with almost every one of the 73 Corvette production years in attendance, picking the final winners was not gonna be easy. Here are photos of all the winners along with a list of some of the most sought after awards. Congratulations to all the winners.

A very important and key person involved not only in our car show, but with the Myrtle Beach Corvette Club in many ways was Jim Spore. After Jim passed away on June 3, 2022, an annual award was established in Jim’s name. The Jim Spore Award, will be presented to a club Member/Couple that exhibits the values and dedication to the Myrtle Beach Corvette Club that our dear friend Jim exhibited. Jim was an extraordinary person. Always with a smile, and genuineness in his conversations with you. His leadership and willingness to help in any way needed are sure to be missed by many. I could go on, but you all knew Jim and the person he was.

2026 Jim Spore Award recipients Della and Kevin Goettl. Help me congratulate Della and Kevin on another year of helping the Myrtle Beach Corvette Club, by serving the club in so many ways. The club and the car show would not be where we are today without your unwavering support. Thank you so much for everything, and congratulations to you both. I would also like to congratulate all the nominees for this years award. Just being nominated is a huge show of the recognition you all deserve.

I personally want to thank each and every one of our guests and club members that attended the 29th annual Corvettes at the Beach Corvette Show on Saturday June 6th. As usual, you guys and gals never disappoint, and you are definitely making the judges’ job more difficult ever year. There were some amazing cars.

With your paid admission, Friday night dinner tickets, t-shirt sales, donations to 50/50 raffle, ticket purchases for gift baskets, silent auction bids, and so much more, both of our charities will be receiving a sizable donation. Unofficially, our paid attendance was 435, which is incredible, and extremely humbling to be a part of.

We would love your feedback and thoughts about this years show, and appreciate if you could take 5 minutes and fill out the survey linked at the bottom of this post. Please be honest, and tell us the good, the bad and the ugly. We can’t improve if you, our valued guests, don’t tell us what we need to work on for next year. It would greatly help us to improve for next years show, our 30th, which will hopefully be our biggest one ever.

We’re just 4 days away from the 29th annual Corvettes at the Beach all Corvette car show. With the amazing weather forecast for Saturday, we are expecting well over 400 beautiful cars. Will you be one of them? Gates open at 8:00 am, and we’re hoping to be all wrapped up by 2:30 pm.

We will have well over a 15 product vendors, 3 food vendors, serving food all day, over 50 giant raffle baskets, dozens of silent auction items and door prizes and a huge 50/25/25 raffle, with two grand prize winners this year. Last years 50/50 was almost $4000 with the winner taking home over $1900. We are shooting for that $4000 mark again this year, and if we reach our goal, two winners will each take home over $1000.

We will also have about 100 car show T-Shirts available for purchase at our tent. Cost is $25 each. Get them early, because they won’t last.

All proceeds will be going directly to our two amazing and well deserving local charities, Hope Harbor Home and Canine Angels.

Advance publicity for our June car show hit the newsstands in early May.

Sasee magazine which covers Horry and Brunswick counties printed our car show flyer inside the magazine.

South Brunswick Islands Magazine covering South Brunswick County in N. Carolina hillighted Doug Jensen, Car Show Director's car on the front cover. In addition to Doug, Mark Swartwood and Peter Labruna were interviewed for a great story inside the publication.

7 members braved the drizzle, gusty winds and 55° weather to join the Beachcombers Corvette Club for their annual car show. 118 beautiful Corvettes in total, and three MBCC members came home with hardware. Congratulations to George Knouse, runner-up C7, Douglas Jensen, runner-up C8 and Kevin Duke, 1st place C8.

What a Crazy, Busy Car Show Month. Today 15 MBCC Corvettes traveled South to the Charleston/Daniel Island area and took home Club Participation Trophy and individual awards. Dan Columb, both of his cars awarded. Sue Howard, Marilyn Ferrell also awarded. Another group of Members headed North to Shallotte, NC for the Car Show and winners Doug Jensen, Bob LaGoy, Phil DelCostello and Kevin Duke. What a Fantastic Day.
