Auto manufacturers need to stop telling people that transmission fluid lasts a lifetime.
What they really mean is the lifetime of the warranty. Not the lifetime of your vehicle.

We’ve performed multiple transmission fluid services recently that corrected
Shuddering during acceleration
Delayed or harsh shifting
Overall poor drivability

Transmission fluid breaks down over time from heat, friction, and normal wear.

maintenance is always cheaper than a transmission replacement.
