🌡️ Thank you to Kids and Car Safety y for joining us at Oakes Kia for a live hot car safety demonstration! In our own parking lot, we watched a thermometer climb from 70° to 100° in just 5 minutes inside a closed car, proof of how fast simple accidents can turn dangerous.
We showed off Kia's Rear Occupant Alert technology, built to help remind drivers to check the back seat and alerts the driver if it senses movement in the backseat immediately.
Kids and Car Safety works every day to prevent tragedies like this through research, advocacy, and education, and we're proud to have partnered with them on something this important. Never leave a child alone in a car, not even for a minute. 💛
