The S stands for something.

Mercedes-AMG just pulled the wraps off the all-new GLE 63S 4MATIC+ - and this one means business from the moment you see it.

Same heart as its GLS sibling: the fully revised AMG M177 EVO 4.0-litre biturbo V8.612 hp. 850 Nm of torque. Flat-plane crankshaft for sharper response and a higher appetite for revs.

Integrated Starter Generator 2.0 adds another 23 hp and 205 Nm of instant low-end torque.

The result? 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. 280 km/h top speed. In an SUV.

The GLE 63 S gets a completely redesigned front end - AMG-specific grille, enlarged air intakes built to feed that V8, and an exclusive LED light signature that makes it unmistakable at any angle. Out back, the twin tailpipes of the new AMG Performance exhaust system say everything without saying a word. Dial it back in Comfort. Let it breathe in Sport+. Your call.

The V8 isn't going anywhere.
Mercedes-AMG just revealed the all-new GLS 63 4MATIC+ - and it's everything you'd expect from Affalterbach, and then some.

At the heart of it is the thoroughly updated AMG M177 EVO engine. A 4.0-litre biturbo V& producing 612 hp and 850 Nm of torque across a wide powerband from 2,500 to 4,500 pm.

Paired with a new flat-plane crankshaft that reduces rotating mass, sharpens throttle response, and makes this V8 more future-proof than ever. Add in the Integrated Starter Generator 2.0 - an extra 23 hp and 205 Nm of instant torque on demand - and you have a full-size luxury SUV that hits 60 in 4.2 seconds and tops out at 280 km/h.

But this isn't just a performance story.

The GLS 63 gets a completely redesigned front end with an AMG-specific grille and exclusive LED light signature. Inside, the latest MB.OS operating system delivers AMG-specific performance data — torque distribution, G-forces, engine parameters — all in real time. AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension adapts continuously between comfort and sport, and in Trail mode raises ride height 55mm for whatever the road throws at it. Seven seats. Active roll stabilization.
