Beautiful day for a Survey & Sea Trial in Charleston, SC with good friends / clients on a 2011 Catalina 355. Down the Ashley River around the Battery and up the Cooper River, to Cooper River Boatworks for the short haul…nice day on the water!

We are closed today. We had to say goodbye to the "Admiral" Tulip yesterday. Our Bay Harbor Brokerage mascot. Her watch is over, we rang the bells 8 times for our little girl. Love your pets.

There is something striking about seeing this gorgeous, big girl hanging in the lift. Survey and sea trial day for S/V Aqua Dolce was special in more ways than one.

The owners commissioned this beautiful ‘03 Hylas 54! Today the couple shared stories of the places she has taken them. They passed along wisdom gathered over the years, even down to tips from a canvas lady in Turkey. It felt like a passing of the torch from one chapter to the next.

I stopped by Rebel Marina yesterday and ran into Lee, the Dock Master.

It’s always good to see friends around the docks, and Lee is truly one of the nicest people you’ll meet.
