Welcome to Kentucky, Toyota GAZOO Racing! 🇺🇸🏁
We are honored to have Toyota GAZOO Racing World Rally Team here in Eastern Kentucky testing and preparing for the upcoming Overmountain Rally Tennessee.
This week we welcome some incredible talent to our backroads, including 2019 World Rally Champion Ott Tänak and co-driver Martin Järveoja, along with Seth Quintero and co-driver James Morgan and the Toyota GR Corolla Rally RC2 program.
And Toyota isn’t the only one.
Over the coming days, we are honored to have Toyota GAZOO Racing, Subaru Motorsports USA, Lia Block, Patrick Gruszka and Green APU, and four-time ARA Champion Brandon Semenuk utilizing multiple locations throughout Eastern Kentucky for professional rally testing. Subaru’s Overmountain entry will feature Conner Martell and Ross Whittock, while Lia Block will compete with Alex Gelsomino.
Think about that for a minute — some of the best rally drivers, co-drivers, teams and manufacturers in the world are coming to Eastern Kentucky to test.
They are staying here. They’re eating here. They’re buying fuel here. They’re working with our fire departments, communities and local officials. And most importantly, they’re seeing firsthand what we’ve known all along — the mountains and backroads of Appalachia are something special.
Years of work, relationships and believing in what Eastern Kentucky can become are starting to show.
Progress is being made.
