Customer states no start! Cranks but no start. Has replaced a bunch of parts trying to track down why it had lost spark! Already did the hard part of diagnostics, simple electrical fault on this one I should have walked thru the diagnostics but here’s the finished result!

Yesterday we had a 2018 Nissan kick with a P0101 MAF performance code. Verified concern with customer engine shakes and had irregular idle and stumbling. Performed a smoke test and voila! Leaking intake gaskets. Leaking intake gaskets will allow unmetered air into the engine and the engine controls have to compensate for that unaccounted air causing the engine to idle funny and misfire and shake. Used to see this problem a lot on the older ford trucks, as soon as we have first cold morning after a hot summer, the gaskets shrink and trucks runs rough first thing in the morning till it warmed up! Well that’s a diag!

Customer states, battery goes dead overnight and has already been to multiple shops and mechanics and no one has been able to nail it down. He’s spent hundreds of dollars and still truck is not fixed.

Let’s change that!

The factory uplevel radio and rear entertainment system was causing a battery draw.

Day 2 of this 2011 Chrysler 300c, oil pan gasket and rear main seal! Loving this cooler weather! Makes doing this job feel more like a vacation than this heat we been having! 14 hour job on this Chrysler, me and the customer agreed to have this car down for at least three days! But it seems everything went very well and we had no unexpected setbacks and he will be getting his car back on the road is just two days! Very happy! Had a good customer of mine have a little trouble at the boat ramp over the weekend! Good ole corrosion got to the axle and left his boat stranded at the boat landing! So I met him over there Monday afternoon and even though he got the wrong type of axle (he just wanted to get it home) we still managed to get back road worthy and he got it home no problem! I couldn’t tell you what my favorite song was when I was 12, I couldn’t tell you what they served in the cafeteria that day, and I couldn’t tell you my English teachers name in 7th grade at Henry county middle school.. but I will never forget that morning on 9/11/2001 in that English class when the commotion started and teachers and staff were going room to room and our teacher turned on the tv in the classroom just in time for us to watch the second plane hit the towers. I will never forget the feelings we all felt that day. It was like the whole world stood still. Just in so much shock it didn’t seem real. I will never forget how much we came together as a country. As a community. All the patriotism. How rallied the country was. All the respect everyone had for our first responders. Those who joined the military. I will never forget 9/11, and I pray that everyone will always remember how that tragedy brought us all together. Always remember those who lost their lives that day. Never forget their sacrifice.

One of my good customers requested brakes on her Nissan last week so we did the front! And then we scheduled the rear and when I showed up this morning to perform the work I found that the rears were actually still in good shape! Just needed a little cleaning and adjusting! Customer was very pleased and happy with me and the honest services I provided! She now has money to get her serpentine belt replaced that I recommend from a previous inspection!
