Well, our first weekend out certainly could’ve gone a little better, but it was at least productive. Last weekend, we attended the Mid Atlantic .90 Association first event of the season at Mason Dixon Dragway. Testing on Friday with the DWM Super Gas Camaro started rough, but finished on a good note. Saturday brought a couple more hiccups with the temperamental roadster, but fortunately the dragster played nicely and kept our hopes up. Despite getting everything on the right track, we bowed out in round one in both entries on Saturday. Sunday showed more promise, with a great run out of each car in our time trial. Come eliminations, it was much of the same from the day before, losing again to two more tough competitors. Despite no success competitively, we were pleased to end the weekend with two cars that seem to both be working well. Let’s see what the next one has to bring!

Better late than never, right? We finally were able to make it out to get some test hits on the DWM Inc dragster at Mason Dixon Dragway. We had some great weather for it, and were able to make three nice runs to prepare ourselves for the first race of the year. It also gave us some practice with our new Computech Race Air Cloud and Race Base weather station setup. Thanks to Jay and Matt Parlett on their help getting it all rolling! Time to go to work in 2026! Here’s the video of our last run from our test session. We think we ended it on a good note!

So the DWM Inc. dragster is complete and race ready these days, and today, had the opportunity to take it to Posies Hot Rods open house! It was a great day of catching up with hot rodders and racers alike, including 1989 NHRA Funny Car world champ, Bruce Larson. Where do you find such a legend of the sport in a parking lot full of street rods? Standing beside the only dragster, staring at it! What an honor. Hope to catch up with him again soon! We’ll be back out racing in the coming weeks! Stay tuned!

Happy Easter everyone! The Easter Bunny dropped off another piece to the puzzle this weekend, the transmission from our friends over at Sepanek Racing Transmissions! We’ve been telling ourselves the case needed re-powder coated for the last two or three recerts, and Jack had the perfect guy in mind. Thanks, Jack, for handling all of it, and getting us one step closer to race season! Hope everyone was able to enjoy the holiday with family and friends! 🐣🐰💐🥚

Dad and I got a lot accomplished over the weekend! Rear end is back in the car after being torn down, checked out and cleaned. Dad killed it with the new windshield, making adjustments from the prototype we ran in 2025. I made a new floor pan, considering the old one was showing its age. Installed a 7 point harness (rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it). A brand new pair of got mounted a few weeks ago, with new fronts waiting to go on those RBZ front runners. Waiting on a few key components to roll back into the garage, and some parts need ordered. Almost ready to rock and roll!

Happy Friday all as we close out the first part of our Top 5 finishers with our 5th place in Super Comp!

Coming in 5th is our 3x Champ of the series Chase Fahnestock and his DWM Inc Dragster. Chase was able to add to his legacy with the series with a win at the May Cecil County event which was an emotional one as he had just lost his grandmother a few weeks prior to the season starting. When you add in a semi-final finish from Race # 1 at Mason Dixon is gave the PA driver yet another Top 5 finish.

Congrats to Chase, Ally, Annabella, Crystal. Joel and the rest of Team Fahnestock, on Monday we dive into the 4th place finishers with Scott Lang!
