Well this weekend was a total surprise…. My crew threw a surprise party for 50years anniversary of being in business ! Complete and total shocker yesterday…. I pulled into my shop parking lot and thought they were doing fire department training because of all the cars and our trucks outside….. and when I got closer to the shop I noticed a lot of people inside….. first person I noticed was a friend of mine from Indiana- Kurt Knecht / Zores Towing , then I noticed my daughter Gabby who is in Indiana going to college, then I started noticing old employees/ friends!!?? I was totally blown away…. There were sooo many people from all over the place ! Shot Gun Steve from ME ! Kurt from Zores, Bubba from upstate NY ! Friends, family and close friends….. total shocker….. I gotta Thank Sarah Hayes from our company who apparently started organizing this 6 months ago !!?? And of course the rest of my crew who helped make it all happen….. What a total shocker and great surprise !! And honestly, I didn’t even realize it’s been 50yrs for us !!!
Thank You to EVERYONE who helped make this happen and a big Thank You to EVERYONE who gave up their Saturday to help celebrate this milestone with us !! Thank You Thank You !!

We figure out the root cause of the failure and determine if it can be fixed rather than making the customer purchase a brand new transmission….. There is a difference between repair shops…. Hilario's is looking for a couple of experienced Light Duty Tow Truck drivers full and part time in the Southbury / Oxford area as well the Danbury, Newtown and surrounding areas. The ideal candidates would have experience in Towing and Recovery, have good organizational skills, good customer skills, good communication skills, a good driving record, be reliable and be able to show up to work on time. Must be flexible for work shifts including on-call work. Requires clean MVR & pre-employment drug screening. Excellent pay & benefits, paid vacation and holidays and growth opportunities. 3 locations ! Newtown, Danbury & Southbury.
