Happy Birthday, Pappy Buzz!

Long before his name was on the sign at Buzz’s Body Shop, Edward “Buzz” Stone was a Recon Marine serving in Vietnam with Dunn’s Raiders.

To me, he was more than a Marine. He was my grandfather, my mentor, and one of the men who taught me the value of hard work, self-reliance, and taking pride in what you do. He taught us that your word matters, hard work still means something, and if you’re going to do a job, you do it right the first time.

This shop exists because of him. Every vehicle that comes through our doors is a reminder of the standards he lived by and the legacy he left behind.

Today, on his birthday, we’re remembering the man, the Marine, and the example he set for all of us.

Happy Birthday, Pappy Buzz! We miss you every day!
